Anem Weather deals in meteorological facts, not personal surveillance. Your data remains your own, used solely for the purpose of accurate forecasting. We do not sell your personal data.

The application uses location services exclusively to retrieve weather data for your immediate vicinity. This data is transmitted securely to our weather providers (Open-Meteo) and is not stored permanently on our servers.

II. LOCATION SERVICES

To provide accurate forecasts, severe weather alerts, and tidal data, we require access to your device's geolocation. You may revoke this permission at any time via your device settings, though the utility of the application will be significantly diminished.

III. DATA RETENTION

We do not require user accounts. All user preferences, selected units, and saved manual locations are stored locally on your device.

Local Storage: All settings and preferences remain on device.
External Services: Weather and location routing queries rely on external APIs (Open-Meteo, Nominatim) which process but do not permanently store your queries.

IV. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Structural updates will be communicated through the application's ticker. Continued use of the application indicates acceptance of any revised policies.
